RFID MODULE FLEX and FLEX_App
With the RFID module FLEX, ProxTech introduces the next level generation of RFID. Supporting a wide range of RFID technologies, including LEGIC advant, LEGIC prime, ISO14443 A/B, ISO15693 and ISO18092 NFC, these 13.56 MHz modules FLEX and FLEX_App create a revolution in the RFID market through their extended functionalities and their extreme competitive pricings.
The new multi-functional and multi-technology RFID module “FLEX” gets its name from its extreme flexibility in applications.
FLEX is a cost-effective read/write module, suited for use with transponders in all common 13,56MHz technologies. This universal application possibility offers enormous advantages compared to other modules supporting just one technology.
FLEX_App offers the same functionalities but has no processor on board. It gives you a direct access to the RFID core chip so that you easily develop your own firmware and have complete control over the module. Thus no extra costs for special hardware development and manufacturing are needed anymore.
Both versions allow for easy implementation with their power range from 3.3 Vdc to 5 Vdc.
The entire FLEX RFID module series has been developed on the modern LEGIC advant 4200 core chip. But depending on the application, the same modules are available with LEGIC advant 4200M, 4500 or 4500M chips.

- FLEX: a complete module for various 13.56 MHz technologies. Available in a selection of different interfaces, such as USB, RS232, TTL, wiegand, clock/data, …
- FLEX_4200: FLEX module based on LEGIC advant 4200 chip (standard version)
- FLEX_4200M: FLEX module based on LEGIC advant 4200M chip (optional)
- FLEX_4500: FLEX module based on LEGIC advant 4500 chip (optional)
- FLEX_4500M: FLEX module based on LEGIC advant 4500M chip (optional)
- FLEX_App: also supporting various 13.56 MHz tags, FLEX_App offers the feature of direct access to the core LEGIC Advant 4200 chip, allowing the user to develop his own customer-specific applications.
