RFID USB reader for wall mount
Besides the well-known USB desktop readers and USB stick PEN readers, ProxTech can also supply you with a wall-mount RFID reader with USB interface.This can be extremely useful when for example in need of adding a RFID reader to a processor unit or a time clock.
When thinking of RFID readers with USB interface, this is often limited to desktop readers or pen readers. However, it might come in handy when you would have a wall mount reader which can be connected over USB.
Or simply when you need a waterproof or shockproof USB RFID reader to use in an industrial environment.
This is exactly where ProxTech’s 13.56 MHz MCR and MINI RFID reader series come in. Not only available with the standard interfaces Wiegand, Clock/Data, RS232, RS485, …, they can also be supplied with a USB 2.0 interface in HID mode (keyboard emulation).
